Romeo & Juliet: What If?

What If?

Thursday was the given day of Paris and Juliet's wedding. Juliet asked Friar Lawrence for a bright idea on how to prevent their wedding. Friar Lawrence gave Juliet a potion. A potion which lets Juliet to die for forty hours. Juliet drank the potion on the night before their wedding. Friar Lawrence asked Friar John to send Romeo a letter which tells him the fake death of his beloved wife, Juliet. The Capulets saw the dead body of Juliet. They put Juliet's dead body to the place where dead Capulets were buried. Balthasar, Romeo's man saw that Juliet's dead body was being buried by the Capulets. And so, he immediately went to Romeo's place, Mantua, to tell Romeo what he saw. After hearing what Balthasar said, Romeo went back to Verona as fast as he could.  Paris went to the Capulet's tomb to put the flowers to Juliet's tomb, he hid himself to the dark when he heard a noise. He went to the place where Juliet's body lies, not knowing that Paris was there. He went closer to Juliet's tomb and he grieved. Paris saw Romeo and then they fought. Romeo then, killed Paris. He continued grieving and he decided to kill himself by drinking a poison. But before killing himself, he kissed Juliet for the last time. Friar John came to Friar Lawrence and said that he could not send Romeo the letter and gave it back to Friar Lawrence. Friar Lawrence went to Juliet's tomb. He was shocked after seeing Romeo and Paris' dead bodies. Juliet woke up. Friar Lawrence heard the watchers so he immediately left. Juliet grieved after seeing Romeo lying dead. She also decided to end her life. She first attempted to drink Romeo's poison, but the bottle is empty. So she kissed Romeo thinking that there is still poison on Romeo's lips but there's none. Juliet saw Romeo's dagger and she buried the dagger to herself which took her life. Prince Escalus, Montague, Capulet, Lady Capulet and the watchmen came. Lady Montague died because of extremely loneliness after what happened to Romeo. Friar Lawrence explained what really happened and he told the Tragic story of Romeo and Juliet. The feud between the two families ended. Then, they decided to make a statue of Romeo and Juliet. THE
END.

But what if, this was the story...

Thursday was the given day of Paris and Juliet's wedding. Juliet asked Friar Lawrence for a bright idea on how to prevent their wedding. Friar Lawrence gave Juliet a potion. Paris saw Romeo coming to Juliet's tomb, so he talked to Romeo. Romeo had to explain why he was so eager to see Juliet. Romeo told Paris everything about him and Juliet, but Paris' feelings was hurt so he quickly pushed Romeo. But Romeo pleaded to Paris that he just wanted to see Juliet. Paris breath deeply and went to Juliet's tomb along with Romeo. Romeo ran into Juliet, after seeing that Juliet was really dead, he was about to drink the potion until Juliet was awakened by Paris kissing her. Juliet pushed Paris, but quickly asked for his forgiveness, she told Paris everything about her and Romeo, then she chose Romeo to be her husband for life without knowing that Friar Lawrence, Friar John, Prince Escalus, Montagues, and the Capulets were at the door listening to her story. The Capulets and Montagues began to shake hands and tears fell down from their very own eyes seeing that a Capulet and a Montague became in love with each other. Paris began to run away and after some days, the families heard that Paris took the potion that was supposed to be drank by Romeo. The families went to Paris' funeral and asked for forgiveness, and remembered this funeral as the end of the war between their own families. THE END.

The Provider

"The Provider"

"The Provider" as I call him. My father, Orlando P. Binsol is the most wonderful, excellent, loving, caring, handsome, and supportive that adjectives won't be enough to describe my special father. He was born on October 10, 1964. Well, how did my awesome father received the title "The Provider"? That would be easy, he simply provides all our needs, spiritually, mentally, financially, and emotionally. In Filipino, fathers are called as the "Haligi ng Tahanan" which are really true. Father's day is a day every person in the world should remember, to love our fathers is the first thing we should do.

Every year, we celebrate father's day yet some people does not treat this occasion as special, some are because of broken families. But broken families should not be a thing to stop us from loving our fathers. Some of the hobbies of my father are playing billiards, reading books or newspapers, and strolling using our car. He goes to work everyday to provide our family's daily needs. Yet, he never forgets his family, so for me, he's the greatest father in whole world. Below is a picture of me and my father, this picture was taken last month.

Of course, there is no perfect father, so my father often argues with me or someone in our family, but a simple "sorry" brings us together again. My father helps our mother to guide me and my other three siblings in our daily lives. Once a month is the least time we go out as a family and have a fun time bonding with our loved ones. There's no other thing a simple boy could ask for than to have a happy and loving family.

My Father, My Hero

My Father, My Hero

Ever since I was a child, I always thought of what my father was thinking when he was working. I always thought of what he feels about me and our family. I did not realize all what he was always thinking until I went to school. I realized while I was growing up that he only thinks about us, on where to get the money to make our empty stomachs full and to make us feel loved.

My father, Orlando Binsol for me is the greatest father of all time. He works with my mother, Juvilyn Binsol to feed us, give us food and clothes, to make us feel loved and to be cared, and to feel a family who loves each other with my two older sisters and an older brother, which makes me the youngest among our family.

Well, how did my father become a hero? That's easy, he loves me, he takes care of me, and he simply makes me happy. What more can you ask for? Here's a picture of me with my beloved father.

He was always there whenever I needed him, because that's the responsibility and the duty of a being a father. He becomes a doctor when I'm sick, a kid when I needed someone to play with me, a friend when I encounter problems, and a father who loves his children so much.

Of course, no one is a perfect father, we often encounter arguments, but because we love each other, we try to understand. Often times, I'm wrong and I make mistakes, but my pride does not lower down, so we argue and after every each of that, I always realize that I was wrong, that what I did was not good, so I try to apologize and always, he forgives me, so he's really an inspiring hero. Here is a picture of our family.

My parents become my inspiration when I do things, the same as what they feel when working and earning money. They are the kind of parents who does not focus only on work, they don't forget the family that needs attention and needs to be happy. Almost every month, we go out as a family and go to a mall or somewhere that could strengthen more our family, and our family always eat together at breakfast, lunch, or supper, and that's our family bonding.
For me, my family is the greatest family in the world, and nothing could ever change that. That's the story of how my father became my hero.
